Lecture Content：

In this talk, we will introduce the notation of center for planar polynomial vector fields, then discuss how many is the maximum number of centers for planar polynomial vector fields of degree n. This is based on a joint work with Dr. Hongjin He.

Speaker Introduction:

Xiao Dongmei is a Distinguished Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, recognized as a leading academic figure in Shanghai and a recipient of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars. She graduated with a PhD in Mathematics from Peking University in 1991. Her research focuses on the qualitative theory and bifurcation theory of differential equations and their applications. Currently, she is leading research on fundamental problems in basic mathematics under the "Mathematics and Applied Research" key project sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
