A Casual Discussion on Fourier Analysis and Partial Differential Equations
Speaker:Academician Zhang Ping
Event Time:April 20th, 1:30 PM
Location: 1st Floor Auditorium, Comprehensive Building
Lecture Content:
In this lecture, I will first introduce the classical Fourier methods and their applications in linear partial differential equations with constant coefficients. Subsequently, I will discuss pseudodifferential operators and Fourier integral operators and their applications in linear partial differential equations with variable coefficients. Finally, I will introduce Bony's paradifferential decomposition and its applications in nonlinear partial differential equations.
