School of Mathematical Sciences Holds Seminar on the Construction of Educational Practice Bases

On the afternoon of November 21st, the School of Mathematical Sciences organized a special seminar on "Educational Practice Base Construction." Leaders from more than ten middle schools, including Hebei Normal University Affiliated High School, Hebei Normal University Experimental Middle School, Shijiazhuang No.2 High School, Shijiazhuang No.1 High School, and Shijiazhuang Foreign Language School, were invited to attend. Dean Yuan, Liping, Deputy Party Secretary Gu Lianzhong, Vice Dean Lu Ming, Professor Zhang Shuo from the Teaching Methodology Group, Professor Zhang Shengchun from the School of Teacher Education, and Director Zhou Enhui of the Teaching Affairs Office participated in this discussion event.

The leadership of the School of Mathematical Sciences warmly welcomed the leaders of the middle schools and expressed heartfelt thanks for their strong support of the school's educational practice work in recent years. Dean Yuan, Liping emphasized that educational practice is an important practical course for teacher-training students. Establishing stable, high-level educational practice bases is crucial for cultivating students' practical abilities, improving professional competence, and enhancing the quality of talent training in our school. The school leadership hoped that the middle schools could provide valuable suggestions for our educational practice work, aiming for mutually beneficial cooperation to jointly promote the enhancement of teaching skills and the growth and development of teacher-training students. During the seminar, in-depth discussions were held on the construction of educational practice bases, internship work planning, the building of mentor teams, standardized management of students, and refining the internship evaluation process.

Dean Yuan, Liping stated that the school would seriously summarize the valuable suggestions made by the middle schools and actively address the internship issues reported. In future work, the school will increase investment in educational practice, combining it with the school's "Teacher Skills Training Camp" second-classroom characteristic project. There will be a further strengthening of the mentor team construction, enhancement of students' teaching awareness, cultivation of educational sentiment, and creation of a positive teaching atmosphere among all faculty and students. The school is committed to achieving substantial improvements in the educational practice work.

This discussion event set new and higher standards for the educational practice work of our school. Adhering to the principles of mutual collaboration, resource sharing, and joint development, and upholding a student-centered, long-term development-focused training philosophy, the school and the practice schools will further standardize the construction and management of the educational practice bases, striving to set new benchmarks for school educational practice work.
